Tang Family | A Bay Area Family Portrait Session

The Tang Family

Family Photography | Vasona Lake | Los Gatos, California

There's something extra sweet about a session that doubles as a happy secret. The Tang family met me at Vasona Lake in Los Gatos on a golden autumn afternoon, the trees just starting to turn, to celebrate some big news: their daughter was about to become a big sister. She held up her announcement sign, hugged her mom's growing bump, and then mostly did what little ones do best — ran ahead, laughed, and pulled everyone onto the bridge to play. Those in-between moments, the giggles and the hand-holding, are exactly what I love catching. It turned into one of my favorite kinds of afternoons: a family being completely themselves while quietly marking a brand-new chapter.

If your family is growing and you've got a moment worth remembering, I'd love to plan something like this with you.
